Olivia Barnum

Public health researcher and analyst focused on health equity, epidemiology, and global health systems.

From research to consulting — with a global thread.

My work sits at the intersection of epidemiology, health equity, and applied analytics. I began as a bench researcher and field epidemiologist — studying everything from neurolinguistics to tuberculosis transmission in Bolivia — before moving into public health graduate training at Emory's Rollins School, where I focused on social determinants of health.

A CDC ORISE Fellowship brought me into global health systems work, co-authoring research on FETP contributions to COVID-19 response across 37 countries. Today I apply that rigor in healthcare consulting at Analysis Group, where I support complex litigation and strategy engagements across oncology, rare disease, and health policy.
